The Premier Global Speed Skating Event
ICE1 is the ultimate global speed skating competition, bringing together top athletes from diverse speed skating
disciplines - long track speed skating, short track speed skating, and inline speed skating - to compete
on neutral ground and crown the true king of skating.
This extraordinary event also features a world-class ice show, enhanced by popular K-pop performances
and spectacular entertainment, making it an unforgettable experience for all.
Held annually, ICE1 is a major global skating festival, comparable to iconic events
like the Formula 1 Championship or the Super Bowl.

Background
For over a century, long track speed skating has thrived, while short track speed skating has captivated fans
for more than 50 years. However, skaters from these disciplines have never competed against one another
on neutral ground due to the unique characteristics of each sport and the vastly different venues they require.
The idea of a true showdown between champions of long track and short track speed skating has long been a dream
for skating enthusiasts. The inclusion of inline speed skating - an increasingly popular discipline with athletes
frequently transitioning between different skating styles - perfectly complements the vision of ICE1.
The ICE1 rink measures 220 meters, a middle ground between standard long track and short track lengths,
creating an arena where skaters from all three disciplines can adapt, compete, and showcase their strengths.

Significance
The Birth of a New Global Speed Skating Event
Held once a year, ICE1 is a groundbreaking celebration of ice skating, often referred to as the "Winter Super Bowl".
Shaping the Future of Skating
-

-

-
Development of Skating: ICE1 strengthens amateur skating and contributes to the growth of the global skating industry.
Bringing Winter to Summer
In regions with year-round warm weather, ice rinks are rare, and ice sports remain unfamiliar - especially in areas such as Africa and the Middle East. A global festival like ICE1 has the potential to introduce and popularize skating in these regions,
expanding the market and fostering a shared appreciation for sport and athleticism.
ICE1 brings the refreshing spirit of winter to hot climates, offering relief from the heat while uniting people through the universal language of sports.
